Xero books fallen behind? Let's get them back on track.

I reconcile the period we agree to the bank statements you provide, code to your registered agent's written instructions, and give you a clear list of anything unresolved. One fixed price, agreed before I start.

Receipts on the seat. Books months behind.

It happens to good businesses. You're flat out doing the work that pays, and the bookkeeping slides. Then your accountant starts asking for records you haven't got to.

That's the job I do. I reconcile your accounts to the bank statements you provide for the period we agree, and hand them back with a plain-English list of anything still open.

What you get back

You receive a summary of the work completed and anything still outstanding, so you and your accountant know where things stand.

  • Accounts reconciled

Closing balances reconciled to your statements wherever the supplied records allow it.

  • Coded to your agent's written instructions

I use only the accounts and tax rates your registered BAS or tax agent gives or confirms in writing.

  • A list of what's still open

Anything I couldn't finish, what it is, and who needs to decide it.

  • A one-page summary

Like the sample here. One page, no jargon.

Sample summary. Fictional business.

More than 100 transactions a month? I look at your records and quote first.

Ask about Keep-Up

Before we start: you need a registered BAS or tax agent who can give or confirm your account and tax-rate coding in writing. I organise and reconcile; your agent makes the tax decisions.

How it works

Four steps, with clear requests whenever I need a record or an answer.

  1. Tell me where you're at

How far behind, which software, and how many accounts.

  2. Get a fixed quote

The price and written terms. Nothing starts until you agree.

  3. Give me access

Invite me to your Xero file, share the statements for the agreed period, and connect me with your agent. Open questions need an answer within five business days.

  4. Get your handover

A summary of the work done, balances reconciled where records allow, and a list of anything unresolved.

Questions

Anything else, call or text me on 0425 845 110.

Do you do BAS or tax returns?

No. I'm a bookkeeper, not a registered BAS or tax agent. BAS, tax returns, GST decisions and tax advice stay with your own agent. I work alongside them and make their job easier.

What if I'm more than three months behind?

Tell me how far. I'll look first, then quote one fixed price for the whole job before any work starts.

I use QuickBooks Online, not Xero. Can you help?

Possibly. The A$650 Catch-Up is for Xero. Send me the details and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what it would cost.

How do you get into my books? Is it safe?

You invite me as a user in Xero and share your bank statements. I never ask for your bank login or passwords, and you can remove my access whenever you like. I use your information for enquiries, agreed work and required business records, and I don't sell it or share it for marketing. More in my privacy page.

Who will be doing my books?

Me, Theo. I'm a Xero Certified Associate (Level 1), a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor member, and studying the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping at TAFE Queensland. I'm based in Thornlands, and you deal with me from the first email to the final summary.

Do you need to come out to me?

No. It's all done online, so it works wherever you are in Australia.

When do I pay?

Payment terms are in the written agreement you see before I start. Asking a question or getting a quote costs nothing.

Let's get your books sorted.

Send three quick answers. I aim to reply within one business day and tell you whether your books fit the A$650 scope.

  1. Roughly how many months behind are you?
  2. Are you on Xero or something else?
  3. How many bank accounts and cards?

Rough answers are fine. No obligation.
